Buxton Historic Site and Museum - Offers quiz, online tour bookings and discussion board.

Abraham Shadd - Prominent historical figure whose accomplishments include, conductor on the Underground Railroad at his homes (stations) in both Delaware and Pennsylvania; In 1833, elected President of the National Convention for the Improvement of Free People of Colour and in the same year, active participant in the founding of the American Anti Slavery Society.

Baptist Church - Article was taken from the 1973 issue of the North Buxton Homecoming Labour Day Book. Author is Mrs. Dorothy Shadd Shreve. Sometime prior to the year 1840 a small number of Baptists settled in different parts of Raleigh Township, Kent County, Ontario.
